WOLLEN MICHELMORE STAFF 'JUMPER' TO IT FOR FESTIVE CHARITY DAY

Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day

They came in all shapes and sizes – Christmas Jumpers (and hats and ties) were the order of the day as staff from Wollen Michelmore solicitors celebrated a special charity day.

Christmas Jumper Day has become an annual fund-raising event in the UK for the Save the Children charity.

It all began back in 2012 and now thousands of people of all ages and from all walks of life don their most outrageous festive jumpers on one, specially organised day to raise money for the worldwide charity with anybody taking part making a minimum donation of at least £1.

The Wollen Michelmore teams from across the county – Torquay, Newton Abbot, Dartmouth, Exeter and North Devon – certainly rose to the challenge with some colourful offerings.

Jumpers included reindeers, Christmas trees, stockings and a Christmas dinner (not literally, of course).

Wollen Michelmore practice director Clive Meredith said: "It was a great team effort and there were some pretty outrageous sites. We are still tallying up how much was raised but I would just like to say a big thanks to everybody who took part - and Happy Christmas."
